What Do You Do When Your Natural Psychic Defences Are Compromised?

I have been reading about a battle that has been going on for ages on Earth between light and dark. There are spiritual beings that act to harm humans incarnate on Earth. I now call those spiritual beings "lower astral entities".

I have been given a lifetime where I am coming into awareness as sharing the space I am in with some of these lower astral entities. Sometimes they present just as human consciousness entities - and sometimes they present as malevolent human consciousness entities bringing significant life resistance.

People are supposed to have natural spiritual protection in the form of the "aura", which is a kind of soul organ surrounding the body in a large egg-shape with different layers and functions. Sometimes the strong outer membrane of the aura becomes compromised, and a person may then be subject to disturbance by lower entities or energies.

There are a few books out there on psychic protection, and many webpages given to psychic protection and keeping safe regarding what belongs to the spirit reality - but, the big question is, what are you supposed to do when your psychic protection is compromised, you are open, and you have spiritual intrusion?

I think it comes down to a few things. For me, this is a "work in progress", I have not recovered my health yet.
You can try shamanic healing for "extraction" work to remove intrusive entities as an intervention.
You can try aura work from spiritual healers to repair the aura.
You can get spiritual development (for example at a spiritualist church) to learn how to close down your psychic perception and not be open all the time.
You can stay "grounded" in the Earth energy, and in your body awareness.
You can practice spiritual hygiene by staying away from hospitals, cemeteries, mortuaries and churches, and keep away from recreational or psychedelic drugs (as drugs can harm the aura and open you).
You can look at healing your conscious and subconscious self and keeping your emotions and awareness bright and happy, and love your way into evolving through shadow places in your life experience.
You can take care what you think about, so that you increase that which you love and not that which  makes you unhappy (according to metaphysical laws). Focus on bringing good into your Life, avoid worrying about health.
You can not waste your energy by loving intruding entities or counselling them in what is good - if it doesn't help in the beginning, stop.
You can take care not to befriend entities occupying space in your conscious awareness, even if you feel like they deserve to be treated with respect (they may be changeable in temperament, like mine, but do not trust them to be your friends).
You can go through exorcism through traditional religious routes (but those faith leaders may have less esoteric knowledge of what is troubling you spiritually and how to overcome it).

If you see a faith healer/spiritual healer, exercise caution in who you choose.
Some may be lying about what they can do for money or power or respect.
Some may believe they can help when they are deluded.
Some may say they can help when they can't because they don't have the knowledge or practical experience.
Some will know how to help and will do so.

Beware of people who say they are healers but say they have no psychic awareness.
Beware of paying a lot of money for a healing or courses of healing.
Beware of what seems like a "magic fix" and instant miracle cure.
I would also say that remote entity release is something to beware of.

Also, last year I saw a healer who was set up to work as a professional shamanic practitioner offering to perform spirit release, and I came away with an extra spirit consciousness entity attaching with me! It  must have been that she was more of a beginner on her path, and unaware that she herself had entities near her, perhaps a few.

Anyway, enough scary ideas, but there are many writers out there on the internet talking about spiritual intrusion and spirit release. This would be a spiritual health issue. This issue has also gained attention of psychologists (eg Dr. William Baldwin), who have used hypnosis to communicate with attaching entities and then release them to the Light. I also saw a Youtube video which featured the testimony of an anonymous American hospital psychiatrist who was scientifically convinced that he had patients having objectively real communication with unseen consciousness entities.
Of course, you can do your own research on this. I am open to questions in the comments section of this blog, which I can answer according to my personal life experience knowledge.

Good luck! And all blessings to you on your path of spiritual health, peace, Light and happiness.

Popularity of Posts on Diagnosis Schizophrenia: My Drawings

In terms of written posts,. most people come here to find out about "psychic attack", and less come for my autobiography on living with psychic/spiritual attack and the blurred lines in my culture between mental suffering and being psychic or sick.

However, way more (twice the number) of people come to see my drawings, from my initial breakdown and from time since then - which is a BIG surprise! It is unexpected, and I really like that people are interested in the drawings. Those drawings (from the search item "schizophrenia drawings") are very unusual. First I was an ordinary person, capable but not overly interested in art, then I was in a borderline mental place and drawing with passion or rapture and bringing forth designs from the unconscious. These drawings I hold to be special; I have had two of them made into posters, that I framed and hung on my walls in my home, they have a special place in my life, and rise above being a symbol of illness.

For me, the main point here is that most people who come to my blog are looking for some manner of support to respond to psychic attack or spiritual warfare, perhaps also with an emphasis of being disorientated and supposed insane . In many parts of the world and among the general population, awareness of spiritual attack is obviously non-existent (and you might well know that this awareness may merely be manifested as utter skepticism), and where it does it exist, it is likely to be known as fact rather than experience, or be special knowledge held by a few or by knowing ones. Which is not surprising. Psychic attack is "a big deal", you can buy many books on "psychic protection" on Amazon now, for example, but this condition of experiencing psychic aggression in an everyday or pronounced way is, I suppose, quite or very marginal. If you are reading this, you are likely a skeptical scientist or a spiritually sensitive person. If you are here as a spiritually sensitive person, then good luck to you, it is not all bad, you must be in the grace of God and on  a path with many gifts and wonders in store! Peace be with you, whatever the reason why you are reading this.

I hope I have been some help in guiding spiritually sensitive people on Earth at this time who are coping with spiritual wounds and warfare. Perhaps it is coming to the end of the 'investigation', this parapsychologist writes, as I am hopefully about to go to hospital and be initiated into the "bunker-buster" of psychiatric medications, called Clozaril, which may shut down and heal any excessive sensitivity of mind that I have. But I expect to report on that attempted treatment too, as it is also worth writing about for the world.

Until next time, good luck, and happy reading. Remember, the truth is out there...

Paranormality and the Psychology of Abuse

Paranormal.

What does this mean? It means something is happening that is unusual. Beyond normal.

I had a realisation recently that the word 'paranormal' does not just describe interactions with the spirit world, but it describes my every day experience. Maybe you understand this.

I go shopping, I vote, I go to family gatherings, and I seek to make a positive contribution to the world - but all the time, a percentage of my mental activity is given over to spiritual interactions, of which a portion of those interactions are distressing. Spiritual interactions - and challenging ones. Beyond the cornucopia of experience typical to humanity, I have an added challenge, which I define as paranormal. The challenge I endure, that likely you endure too, reader, is to go on with daily life and fulfil your ordinary human desires while coping with spiritual phenomena that you never anticipated could be possible.

I suppose I realised that my life is extremely challenging, sometimes taking me to the limit of endurance. I have this added dimension of knowing that brings difficulty (and a diagnosis of psychosis or schizophrenia). I realised that I go about a daily life the same as anyone healthy, but I am also extremely 'tested'.

I now identify with anyone exposed to extraordinary life circumstances that change them, that are even too heavy for them.

The difficulty for me is being exposed to psychic hostility frequently and on a daily basis. But I am able to sympathise with others who have been subjected to such influences of aggression that their ordinary psychology has been distorted, and unfairly so. I have insight into the psychology of abuse. As yet, I am still in that world, and cannot speak conclusively on it. But I realise that, all being well, I will master this situation and regain my personal power. I have hope in Life, that all things lead to a positive outcome, so that, with luck, I should escape the influence of the negative upon me and become powerful, able to help others, and happy.

I have attracted the attention of spirits of lesser evolution than me, who have found a weakness in me they exploit, and continually do so to injure my mind. However, this cannot continue forever.

I have been reading that there is always a purpose to what we go through. There must be a purpose to this for me - and you, too, reader, if you are in the same position as me. Coming from a position of disadvantage and injury to a position of power and assertiveness.

So, a post about extraordinary efforts of personal strength, ('paranormal' life challenges) and about evolution into a position of strong personal power. Not just having the strength to pick yourself up and carry on, but the strength to hold your own space and create happiness for yourself. If you are in my situation, I hope you realise how well you have done in sustaining yourself through intense challenge, and I hope you have hope that, all being well, you shall come through it too, just as I hope to.

Into The Mystic

The voice of someone who is on the other side, who I trust and respect called me a "mystic", some months ago. That was a nice moment, a kind of compliment for me, although he was just expressing what to him was a fact. Imagine that. Imagine that I am a mystic.

Now consider that I am having issues through attracting the attention of spirit people whose mental influence frequently triggers pain in me.

Where is this leading for me? To personal power, to compassion, and the ability not to be attached to pain or aggression from having changed my way of thinking. To acquire on Earth the ways of the soul, to become more and more 'godly'/'Godly' - given the nature of the soul as sharing in the Divine Nature, and thus to experience more of the God Nature in its being qualities, feeling love and joy and peace and other qualities.

A long time ago, on a beach with my grandpa, I was digging a hole, as big as I could. Grandpa helped me dig the hole by filling it in...! Actually what he did was to dig from the outside in, instead of digging deep. He said something like "You have to dig out to dig down". A large hole must be wide as well as deep. I was disheartened by his contribution at first, but now it has taken on another significance. It reminds me of my life as it is now: some time ago I became spiritually aware (I began digging a hole), but problems came with this awareness, and my spirituality was an obstacle to my basic happiness and mental health (the hole became filled in from the outsides); now I am digging, digging, digging, deepening my hole - and as soon as I have cleared out what has fallen in then I will have the happiness of a healthy expanded awareness and great spirituality. Back in the day, my spiritual ambition was as large as my appetite for God, my appetite to feel God's love myself for real, so when all is well, that is what will be present to me - my sense of self-worth, my sense of loveable-ness, and my contentment and peace will be greater than ever and correspond to the Love of God for me, as much as I can take it in.

Some Simple Logic On My Paranormal Schizophrenia

Psychic + Trouble is not equal to Psychotic

Psychic + Trouble + Former Psychosis is not equal to Psychotic Now

Psychic + Trouble + Former Psychosis + Some Mistakes In Thinking Now is not equal to Psychotic Now

Psychosis does not disclude being psychic.
I have been psychotic. If I am really psychic now, then I am not psychotic now, because my only symptoms of mental disease are to do with supposed paranormal extra sensory psychic pehenomena happening now.

It may not be in your personal or social experience that someone can be psychic or very psychic, but I urge you to consider that the possiblity is real.

Does the Western-based medical psychiatric system have all the answers to the human mind?
I say that it does not. It is a modern, recent science that mislabels the personal truth of masses and of ancient cultures.
THERE IS A GREATER DIMENSION TO HUMAN LIFE! There is a 'spiritual', or 'extra-sensory' reality.

Terminology And Belief

Where do I begin? How do I describe things?
  • "Health issues", "mental health issues"
  • "A condition"
  • "Diagnosed with schizophrenia"
I don't like to say I'm schizophrenic, partly because of the general connotations of unpleasantness and fear that the label may inspire; partly because I now believe I had a fairly short-term dug-induced psychosis that responded well to appropriate medication, and that I am now left experiencing a condition that may look like a psychiatric illness, while actually being a paranormal problem (though nonetheless distressing).

But how do you go about describing that? Recently I found that there was nothing I could say, beyond the intimation that I had had "an illness". The moment I start trying to put it into words, when I choose to reveal the situation, I enter into into what is essentially an argument about the paranormal - in a world not ready to believe in it.

  • 'condition' not disorder
  • psychic attack, spirit attack
I can't really talk about my condition to friends or the uninitiated; even a little discussion "wraps them up in a spider's web", strange and frightening ideation hard to believe. I'm left feeling a bit strange and unvalidated, - and sad, alone.

Of people who are not specialists in spiritual healing, I know of only one person who is willing to give me some credence - one person in the world who 'buys' what I'm trying to 'sell'. "I'm not sure whether there really is something real happening to you," he says, my Community Psychiatric Nurse - how mind-blowing that it would be someone in his position who was willing to believe me. He understands that my sensitivity yields both supportive comforting input (from the celestials), and destructive harmful input (from spirits of lesser light and happiness), and I suppose the fact that it is not all flat-out negative input that helps him believe - he has a 'spiritualist' bone in his (agnostic) body); his sister is an awakened individual in touch with her guides.
Another individual who believes me is the shamanic healer I saw who helped me feel healthy once; he affirmed that I am strong enough to 'reclaim my energetic space', and he didn't really go into lots of discussion  about what I said was happening to me, he merely agreed with me.

There is such a weight of belief against credence in the spiritual in the world today, in my part of the world. We have edged it out, disbelieved it and called it 'paranormal' (that is "outside of normal"). Perhaps this state of belief leads to repressed psychicness (that we call 'weirdness', instead of respecting psychicness when it is pronounced in someone); perhaps it also leads to problems with spirits, through our own ignorance, lack of initiation and inability to relate to the spirit world. - Who knows?

Yes it's a problem to deny our psychicness. But we do at least benefit from a lack of superstition, fear of the malus oculus (Latin) fear of the ophthalmos baskanos (Greek) - the "evil eye" - and so on. And we don't walk around daily in fear of witches and their ill-will.

So, thank you for your wisdom on some things, thank you for the medicine, but my part of the human community has large bare patches that could be more fertile (just as other parts of the global culture have wild parts of superstition that could be tamed and cut back); the definition of my condition is made difficult by my particular home area of the world's cultural awareness. There is near-blanket disbelief in Western psychiatry about spirit influence upon the mind, and this must be adversely affecting a lot of people who could otherwise be helped, or helped sooner (sooner than it takes a person to figure out themselves what's happening to them and go and find help independently of the medical system). I guess the state of medicine here makes me angry. The science-related level of spiritual awareness and willingness to believe here makes me angry.I'm a little angry writing this. But things may change, with the science side of things, the psychiatric sensitivity may change. Things do change.

Demonology II

First-hand awareness of demonology may not be my life-purpose - health is part of my life purpose, but I think my real life purpose is being useful in more mundane ways - still, this is useful knowledge to share, right?

Demonology, study of demons, and knowledge about demons.

What is a demon?
  • A person (or animal?) that is in spirit, and that is in part ascension, who has not been reunited and reconciled with 'the Light', the Highest vibration of existence
  • A person (or animal?) who avoids and hates the Light and seeks to extinguish it where possible
  • A person (etc) who suffers, but in such a way as to not be humble, and pray for help, but holding the desire to spread suffering, particularly among those of the Light
We on Earth are in a state of grace with God; in our souls we are always full of love and light, no  matter what the appearances on the outside. Spirits may attack us, partly out of a kind of jealousy, therefore, and partly out of resentment of the Light.
Out of the body we come face to face with the origin of grace - with God, but we may avoid God out of shame or anger and other emotional conditions.

I believe there is no Devil, that God is Almighty.
I may in anger call them demons, sometimes, but those spirits who trouble humanity are not really any different to profoundly emotionally disturbed individuals found on Earth. Being a humanist, I prefer to call them what they are, spirits in part ascension, rather than create eternal divisions with terms of hatred like 'demon'. Am I wrong? My father, who happily passed on to Heaven when he died, I have heard warn me of the presence of demons and a 'high demon' - so if they 'up there' use such terms, maybe we should too. But perhaps they do so for the sake of ease, and in reality compassion would not use such labels, in reality, love can embrace spirits but not 'demons'.

In  my experience, these spirits are not the extreme embodiment of fear that we traditionally make 'demons' out to be. They are exactly like the Earthly 'psychopath' - a person who has been conditioned by fear and harm to be hostile in an unreasoning and persistent way; this is a being who wishes to win, and they make war aggressively, they are not playing a game.
However, whatever we call them, we should be "as wise as serpents, and as innocent as doves", showing compassion willingly, but not inviting hungry tigers round for dinner... These spirits may be still be more dangerous than we know, and should be treated with caution.

Talk of demons seems to be frowned upon by religion these days. Some churches still have an awareness of spiritual danger, for better or worse, but most churches in my part of the world seem to have abandoned their duty to 'cast out evil spirits' and in place of a very scientific universe that prefers to ask questions first. We have abandoned belief in the paranormal in this part of the world. This position reduces fear, certainly, but what if you are in spiritual danger? The ordinary person will not believe you, and you may not know who to turn to, and those you do turn to may not have the spiritual 'muscles' or awareness appropriate to resolving the spiritual imbalances that present themselves. Because this is about one's relationship with the world of spirit being correctly in balance, being harmonious.

We have natural defences to spiritual danger.
  • There is the energetic aura, the biofield, that is a shield when healthy, (and which can be strengthened by imagining it filled with bright light)
  • There is the presence of the angels and spiritual guides around us, which spreads Light
  • There is the very nature of the Universe, the omnipresence of the Universal energy that guides and heals
  • There is our own common sense
  • There is our personal and group experience, which can help resolve a relationship with spirit that has developed in an unwelcome way (you can see someone who will help you).
I believe there is hope for all beings, that "everything is in a state of flux", so that change finds every being, and all beings 'go Home' to the Light, to God. God's power goes out everywhere, to all beings, (because it is everywhere, it is all beings), and so nothing is truly divided away from God's healing power. [This is a kind of belief in 'universal salvation', as they say, which is a little controversial out there in the realm of Earthly religious doctrine.]

So, do we call them demons, because they do great evil, or do we show compassion and call them spirits fallen into grave ill health, psychopathic spirits? I admit I can't give an absolute answer, but personally I prefer here to embrace, not divide, to heal, not reject: I prefer to call them spirits.

Happy Report

It is important to be believed in. I found someone new who believes in me. This is quite outstanding.

He is an agnostic, his sister is very spiritually sensitive, and... he is my community psychiatric nurse. It's amazing! Someone from the psychiatric side of things giving credence to my story!

He didn't say it outright, but said enough to show that he considers the matter. He said he wasn't sure if I am really ill or suffering from spiritual trouble. Imagine!! I am so happy.

I think this is the first time I have heard any kind of outright corroboration like this.

So, is it possible that a person can awaken to spiritual sensitvity and show symptoms of mental illness? I say yes. What do you think?

Clearly, if you follow my beliefs, spiritual sensitivity can cause immense health problems, - spiritual sensitivity itself can cause conditions of mental illness.
I suppose this places me in the position of someone in a state of "spiritual emergency", the term from transpersonal psychology that could well indicate the future of psychology, that incoroporates all sides of humanity in mental health care.

Introducing...

Diagnosis: Schizophrenia!

A blog for scientists, parapsychologists, and people diagnosed with schizophrenia who believe in the paranormal

This blog will feature the discussion of various perspectives of schizophrenia, as well as snaphsots from the Life of its writer.

As someone who has spent 10 years down the Schizophrenia Mines, and who begins more and more to emerge from those burdensome confines, the writer hopes that the blog-entries here will prove of value to the world-wide community. Welcome.

________

[If you have come to this blog looking for help with difficult parapsychic phenomena (trouble with spirits, painfully open awareness, and so on), you may wish to go directly to the post Solutions To Spiritual Attack: A Summary from 23 November 2010. This post represents my best efforts at present to put forward solutions to spiritual attack.]
                                                                         ________

I am interested in the science of my condition; I like to read online scientific articles about schizophrenia. However, I am also a reader of parapsychological literature. You will find that my world-view is validated more by 'parapsychology' than 'science'. See what you make of it. I wish this blog to help people - those in a position like mine, and those who study the science of schizophrenia.

In 2001 I was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. I don't deny that I have experienced psychosis, but on the other hand, I will argue that I also experience spiritual phenomena. I am very aware that mainstream western psychology can only count five senses, and is without a soul (without a soul that sees, hears or speaks).
This blog tells a true story: the posts you will find here give an honest account of my condition and express my real opinions. It as an anonymous blog, because of the way I imagine my beliefs would be received; however, in the everyday world, I am becoming more open to telling people about my diagnosis and history. - That's a good thing. On this blog I can sound as crazy as I like: I don't have to worry about the face you'll pull when I'm writing about my beliefs on 'evil' spirits and telepathy!
You are the privileged reader of what a person diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia really thinks. And as an educated, articulate writer, and a person with schizophrenia becoming quite lucid in their thinking as they recover, I hope you will take value from this blog of autobiography and opinions on a major mental illness.
The blog is quite serious in tone - and intention. It can be 'wordy' (I try not to be!) (It can also be less than lucid, as I try to pin down the vagaries of my opinions when it comes to some aspects of my inner goings-on.) It can be cyclical, repetitive, as I work through my preferred themes and become clearer on what I write - because this practise of blogging does bring me clarity. I might change my mind about what's real, right before your eyes! But, generally this blog has an intellectual approach to my "paranormal schizophrenia", examining information and arguing points with clarity.

I am writing now to fill out this introduction, and I would also say that after a year of blogging, I feel one of its purposes is nearly filled - to help people in my position. In this way, it reads like parapsychological literature. What do I hold is my position? Call it demonic oppression; call it psychic attack. I call it profound 'psychic' vulnerability, spirit attack. I call it having a mind too open to the world of spirit and suffering from the frequent harmful attentions of hostile spirit-people. But this condition is not without solutions, and I write about these, whether they be 'self-help' or the help of those whose full-time occupations it is to work as a medium between spirits and people.
And what about those whose full-time occupation it is to work with psyches? I am not ungrateful to them! Medication has seemingly removed my irrational thinking (such as delusions of grandeur, - thinking myself to be a demi-god, etc); the medication has stabilised me and pacified me, although it has never managed to shut down the inner 'hearing' I have.
I think I am now ready to stop taking the medicine. I would still like to write about this process of coming off medication (anti-psychotic medicine), as I am planning to live drug-free and would like to document that. I am beginning to scale down my dosage of medication, with the consent of my consultant psychiatrist.

I am aware that I sound insane in my beliefs on paranormal spirituality! But that is not far away from what some people think of all spirituality! Secondly, I realise that I may be off to a losing streak arguing for spiritual reality under a banner of a diagnosis of schizophrenia!! Really though, please keep an open mind about whether people can be mentally ill and simultaneously be psychic, with all that entails.

Thank you.

Mr. S.
