I am Feeding You From My Heart: Manifesto of Action on Spiritual Disturbance

A better term than haunting is "spiritual disturbance". I am writing this advice for you if you are in the same position as I have known. It is a voice of experience sharing approaches of personally proven value, though I am not myself yet clear of spiritual disturbance. This is as much as I can share right now, and from my heart. In writing this I am honouring a spiritual view of voices audible in the mind being clairaudience of telepathic messages from the spirit world. I am writing about ways of dealing with what is called by alternative health sources a rare situation of spirit intrusion, when intelligent and powerful spirit parts of deceased people come into the part of the self that is the personal creative space enclosure that is the human "aura".

Step One
Don't befriend the speaking entities.
If you believe you are really and truly talking to ghosts in your mind that are staying local to you in your aura space, resident with you, which in the vast majority of cases you don't consciously invite or approve of, don't befriend them. It's the last thing you wish to do for them to strengthen any emotional attachment to Earth and addiction to Earth life. Be a friend to their higher good if you can, hold good will for them like God does, but I recommend never being a "friendly friend" to them. You can be gracious, but you must meet them firmly. They are feeding from your own life force when they don't have to and going against a number of spiritual laws. Also, for many reasons, it is likely that they are not going to be a friend to you, and their goal may primarily be just to survive and avoid God and responsibility out of fear. They are there to take advantage of conditions they mistakenly believe they need for life. It does not serve to be personally friendly with them in thought, word or deed, when their rightful place is far away from Earth and its people, they belong with the intelligent Light of Lights that is God in the higher spirit world going on with their lives. Do what you have to to get them out of your personal space and to protect yourself from them. It's the same rule you follow in the company of a hungry tiger. Recognise the ghost entities for what they are and be aware. There are better friends out there to know.

Step Two
Ignore the speaking entities
This step is similar to the first step. It is borrowed from a really helpful teaching found on the website www.MichaelTeachings.com on a page called "Thought forms and dark entities: how to get rid of them". This teaches that when there are ghosts attaching to a person and speaking to their mind, the effect is like OCD and the proper treatment response is similar. Acknowledge the extra sensory perception for what it is and do nothing in response but ignore it, and then the attached souls will usually fall away and drift off for want of attention.
This can be done. I find that my attachments have been quite deeply imbedded, hard to avoid conversing with mentally. I have recently been benefiting from repeating "Not worthy. Not worthy. Not worthy of my holy attention." as a way of unhooking myself from any arguments with them over low words. Not everything that goes through a person's mind is worth paying attention to, and even more so for someone with unhappy, unfriendly, frightened or lonely spirits talking to their mind. Again, their home is not with mortals, and your time on Earth living in health is very dear: help God by doing what you can to shake them off. Acknowledge perceptions and ignore them as far as humanly possible.
Step Three
Be assertive of your rights.
Most resident souls I think have understanding that they have died. These discarnate human spirit beings may not be fully lucid. It helps to remember that they are basically afraid and confused and upset. They may not always appreciate that you are real, similar to how we being schooled in scientific thinking doubt them. However, these souls, in my experience are often exploiting and abusing human beings with some understanding of what they are doing with them. You have to have appreciation for your spiritual rights, that are on a similar or higher wavelength of a solemn oath made with God. To move them out you must have faith in your rights stronger than their mass beliefs in their spirit world about their superiority to Earth people and any ideas they have justifying disrespectful treatment - which they formulate and hold as an attempt at understanding their strange situation. Your spiritual integrity as a single and private and free being is sacrosanct, you must affirm and assert this as far as humanly possible. Know and believe that you are a free being with power and holy rights with God. It is way, way, way far off Divine intention that you are suffering any sentient spiritual intrusion. It's just not meant to be, though in the free will universe it can occur as a transient state.  It is from the discarnate souls' dependent will and their poor understanding of their condition, it does not reflect universal order and Divine will, and as such it cannot abide. It may also be summoned by a place within the self inviting transformation and healing. Have faith that this Life state of undesirable community can fall away from you.

Step Four
Live for others and the greater good
It seems the lower spirit world entities will only be with someone who has somehow a similarity with them, and they can only enter a being who is spiritually very vulnerable in terms of weakened or damaged auric containment, or also enter someone who is at like low vibration as the ones intending to enter. Vulnerability of aura can come about in a number of ways.
In my experience the lower spirit world inhabitants who are still human souls habitually hold  lower mind qualities that we call meanness, malevolence, anger, unkindness, lower than commonly found on Earth. Now, everyone has a higher and a lower within, that's the way the world is. If you wish to move out of spiritual disturbance there is a path not through fighting whatever adversary presents itself, not in arguing or even offering them good advice, good news or healing, which goodness for me has been a wasted effort and made wasted years: the path is to do what they do not do, what they hate, what they cannot sustain or be around: live for others with a generous heart, love entirely without thought of self. Effort for the good of all.  Remember that everyone can do something for the world that is good with relative ease, that would require God or Heaven to work a major miracle to do, because we are in physical form, whereas those ones are all spirits. We are the hands of God and Heaven and the angels on Earth and can do great things!
Purify your mind through healing your emotions and changing your way of life so that you are living at the highest level. If like me you've tried healing, you've tried encouraging them to go, take this step, it will transform your life. It's part of the process of spiritual alchemy and it is the meaning of waking up in Earth. Life itself has been called change, so allow yourself to join in! There are others who are also consciously in this process, we are as a 'yeast' of light in the world increasing its spiritual radiance and all good.

Step Five
Go your own way with God as your guide
Trust your own heart first in what you are living more than any other. In a predominantly secular culture, with an atheistic scientific perspective, we who hear spirit voices, who are naturally like mediums, go unrecognised and uncelebrated or even dismissed and unnecessarily medicated. Who are you making the authority in your life? Don't hand your body and mind over to another, not even a trained doctor called an expert. Modern Western scientific psychology is only about 140 years old, partially helpful, and incomplete; it is a juvenile science and one-sided, being based strictly in a materialist position.
Some humans of Earth used to think our sun orbited the planet; mass views can be false and change wholesale. I look forward to a time when, for example, Tibetan Buddhist masters are consulted for their expertise generated from many hundreds of years of careful psychological study, or indigenous shamanic healing practitioners of longstanding tradition are asked for advice in psychiatry. I don't think those days are far away. Really though, no one has a monopoly on truth, no one. God speaks to each from a home within every human heart. So, love the God that is manifesting as your doctor, but only be devoted to the truth that the God within you is speaking. We may have reasons to be angry, let's just change the culture instead, and do so in the best way. I stand up for the tradition of spirituality down the ages that gives total credence to the human ability to know more with the mind than the physical senses alone give. Mental voices can be objectively real in origin.

Step Six
It's okay to let go.
Know that you are more than you seem to be. You are an indestructible being. Let yourself be more than body-mind self. Be the cloud of your aura, bright and colourful. Be the vision of paradise in your mind that you can be with at will. In truth you are the highest energy that exists in Life, and you go beyond the world in your whole soul and are communing with God. There is something about everyone that exists that is beyond any danger or storm the world brings. That place of being is also only good, only loving. It is not true that you are fallen if you have gone astray and got caught in lower energies, you have had an Earthly setback fully subject to correction and balancing. Who you are is eternally great, good and loved. Perhaps you don't see this in the Life you know, but surely this is truth. First you believe, then you find your way, then you know it all, with all saints and masters since forever and for all time. Where are you? We can know Heaven and live with Heaven on Earth.

Step Seven
Read, study, learn.
Education, education, education. If you are reading this you have a taste of something that is beyond the common culture. It may be the universe is asking you to take part in your own healing, when you ask for a change in Life, you yourself may be a medium of that with a part to play.  Go to a spiritualist church and learn to close down psychic awareness or open it at will, find a good book on psychic development. Find a mentor in spiritual knowledge.  Surely if you are hearing voices it is naturally possible that you are awake as a psychic person, and you got that way without any special preparation; psychicness is normal! It is imperative for a person with really strong spiritual sensitivity to gain skills of self-safeguarding and energy management - for example slowing personal growth by closing chakras, or shielding the self with coloured light or mirrored surfaces around the aura. This is a call to wake up to the situation  that is there, because there are ways for you to help yourself, if you know them. In a world where people can be more or less spiritually sensitive, and where there is such a thing as creative subtle influence of mind - where we can affect each other, whether from when we are alive on Earth or afterwards, between lives - it may be important for an individual to combine awareness with skills or shared understanding on how to live in that world. Everyone is in a different 'place' in their experience; if it is meaningful to you to be safe and live in peace and harmony as a psychic, there are ways to do this, and be schooled in it.
After all that though, you may find that emotional healing and opening to love is your central tool for peace.

Step Eight
Get help
If you are stuck and in discomfort or afraid, reach out to another person and talk and ask for help as best you can. A friendly and wise priest, a trusted faith healer, an official medical figure, a family member or close friend - talk to someone and seek help. No-one is alone in truth, in truth everyone has friends. There are ways and means to remedy spiritual emergency related to spirit disturbance, whether that be some kind of talking therapy, even helpful medication or asylum refuge, all the way to the intervention of someone who has psychic sensitivity and more strength than you who cares and knows enough and can help. Not everyone called an exorcist is really going to be one (please watch out for dishonest people) - and even true exorcists might not be able to help you because of personal conditions and the readiness of a person to be healed. It makes no sense to stand in a corner like a boxer taking hits long-term, when there is something you can do about it. Do something positive, especially when you would like to be living on a happier path and time is passing. You can't always do everything alone, you have a very good chance if you join forces with another.  And if you don't succeed at first, keep going, keep looking, think cleverly, above all, keep looking for the right person to help you. Persistence is one of THE keys to success on Earth. Don't let the disturbed souls in a 'dream' fighting you and mocking your boundaries be the only ones persisting to act. There are people who know what to do about spiritual disturbance, which they don't do just through a gift of personal strength but by working with allies from higher realms of spirit who are strong and peaceful. Maybe your path is finding such allies, perhaps with training by an existing healer, I don't know. Or it is simply to join in this 'dance' of allowing a group action healing to occur. I believe in spiritual healing, I have known it, and can vouch for it.

Step Nine
Keep the faith
I know from their sayings to me that the host of Heaven are always supportive of me in my life in this world. They back us. I know in my heart that there is a greater truth about Life that is good. Call it what you will the intelligence of the Allness, I call it God, Love, Bliss, Friend. I have read that God always wishes you to be your best self in the greatest life story you can imagine for yourself. I have read that there is no cause of suffering in Life, only a cause of joy from the beginning of Creation. These are very old truths and also new truths. Part of being in health is keeping a positive mentality. Everywhere people are proclaiming good news about Life. If you look and listen, you will find a real abundance of good news, of reasons to be joyful. It comforts me to believe in a Higher Power above all others and sustaining all others that is guiding the existence I am in, and it comforts me to have hope in the plan God has for myself and all Life. Faith can be a great support and strength during any period of hardship. God is always calling us to full self-remembrance and knowledge of joy and to love one another.

Step Ten
Chill, baby
Now it's time to put your philosophical hat on and take off your hat of worry. Your philosophical hat is large and loosely worn, stately, though comfortable. It suits you! (Don't bother with that other one too much.)
Life challenges are not forever. Neither are they everything, or the point of Life. Life is in who you are when you are not looking at yourself. Life is in the way you feel when you are free from care. Life is asking you NOT TO STARE at the difficult stuff. Life is reminding you of the Essence and giving you a playful dig in the ribs. Look at this! Did you see it? Tell me you noticed the wonder, beauty and perfection of what is going on? You're part of it! You are the million mile wide sun and the billions years old Earth. You are as good as that hero, as fine as that brilliant mind, you are as strong as anyone who has ever lived! You go into every new day with the same luck and blessings as any one who has ever lived! There is a picture of you and it is as sweet as the eternal beauty of the ocean, the forest, the twilight, the smell of fresh air in the early morning, the profound majesty of whale or elephant. Do you get that you are adorable as any wonder of Creation?
If it can change, it will. Picture your perfect life conditions and hold that. The answer is not always in poring over details trying to fix them within the limitations of all you know. God knows your prayers and what is good for you already, trust that all is working for your great happiness.
Lastly, slow down. I know what it is to be busy in your mind and outwardly busy too. You can remedy this by taking breaks during the day, and going further than simple and shallow relaxation. Do more than rest in sleep, get conscious rest too - find ways to relax and rest during waking hours, for example through a "meditation" method. Such rest is highly rewarding and will replenish you more than what you ordinarily might consider relaxing (for example TV, chatting, music, intoxicants). If you don't rest you will be weaker; I commend you to pursue a deliberate deep relaxation method during the daytime. Meditation can be exactly like a medicine. Be able to let go of effort, relaxing the will and resting, and do so safely.

That's all. I am feeding you from my heart's truth. I hope you will find something to digest and be fed by here.
I am glad to be one voice of many, and many voices have given to me to bring me to this stage; there are yet further views to consider, too.
I will put this post as a page here on the blog.  I hope that the people who come to this blog benefit from this page if it is relevant to them. I hope these steps give one or many "quantum leaps" in your life, readers!
There must be more to say - I am not out of the woods yet, but I am sharing with you trustworthy ideas to help you on your way through the temporary life condition that is disturbance of human mind and being through the awareness of human spirits temporarily in lower evolution. For myself, I feel like I have really begun an alchemical process of change recently, I feel hope. I wish every reader hope, happiness and happy awakenings in your Life, in all ways that are best.

Change of Heart

Looking back through some old posts - I have been writing now for over ten years, which 'plots' a journey and is a good achievement - I notice a habit in my writing about the voices.

I was just reading in a book about the power of love to change lives, and about how love "does not judge or criticise." I have been heavily critical of the voices.

We have different ways of speaking about the same thing - we can be angry or generous, angry or patient, angry or kind. I would say anger is not itself an evil, it serves a purpose, but I read of it being called the poison of the world! That is, the first thing to look at and change in ourselves.

What do you call these voices? Given that spiritual scientists say it is possible to have intrusive spirit entities with us, and it is possible that these can influence our minds and being and be heard as interior voices. Given that the voice hearing experience can be based in reality, what do we call them? Naming can be a shaming and a cause of conflict - that's an archetypal human issue. We have options.

Secondly, how do you talk further in describing these voices? Mine are problematic to me, I find they are often opposing my wellbeing and sabotaging my mental strength. How do I describe them in themselves? They seem to come from a lower place than myself (or anyone I know) and are rarely in great calm and stability and normal generosity. As soon as you fix a description of someone, it is creative and begins to call forth a repetition of the pattern of its qualities. It matters what words you use to describe. If you hold a high thought, it creates a high reality in response - that's metaphysical truth of how the universe works. You can think high thoughts about the voice-beings - or about anyone.

I have been responding with criticism. Basically, getting angry with them for being harsh to me, from a place of expectation that they should understand to treat others better, just as I understand. Sometimes or quite often, when they choose their routine of deliberate hurting, I might get angry and use language choices that are harsh though seemingly appropriate to describe them. This is criticism that is not very helpful, effectively giving them back like for like (returning harshness). Praise heals a person and a relationship. It is actually going to save a situation and bring in change to look for ways to praise and leave off from criticising. Because what is happening? It is merely a moment where you have the moral high ground; in another moment, you probably might not be in the right. The idea of fairness driving the criticism I would call a kind of illusion.

You have to be very careful, I think, not to denigrate when you are angered by another, and not to label them when they do something repeatedly, because it perpetuates trouble and division and suffering. Good words change the world. That's not a new idea: I was reading about the two millennia old religion we call Zoroastrianism that has the motto to live by "Good thoughts, good words, good deeds" as a path of closeness to God.

I have to find ways to bring in peace, and I don't do that by choosing more dramatic language, more condemning language or more disrespectful language, neither do I do it by staying in what is quite volatile anger and emotion of disgust. Instead, I could be feeling patience, generosity, kindness. There are 'keys' to do this, for example the one I noticed about expectation - you can't expect everyone to have perfect moral understanding in every case (which is doing good without thought of reward and also neither doing deliberate harm nor retaliating to harms).

I understand better just recently about forgiveness and the humility it involves and how I can forgive.

Part of the problem is the Problem of Rest. If you can't move away from a social/ego threat you get worn down. It is a problem of spaciousness, having voices as I do, they are always there! People require conscious rest like they require air, food, water and love. My voices can be unloving. If I don't rest enough, which easily happens, eventually I will be unloving back. I will find a way to verbally retaliate or even intimidate somehow or criticise. This is not unique and personal to me, it is standard for anyone who does not have perfect power and control for some reason. Maybe you saw the behaviour at some stage growing up and took it on; maybe you are tired or hurt; maybe you have not reached maturity in years; maybe you didn't grow up in a utopia! I can give myself grace for that behaviour, though I would like to change it.

Recently I found that I can use ambient noise (a loud water fountain) and at the same time some quite loud music (music that is more 'neutral') and I can meditate with all that noise and get into some conscious restfulness and recharge myself. It helps because the sound is loud and more ambient. Still it's an effort to meditate and I don't like to do it every day. This method mostly stops me from hearing the interior voices, and then the mind naturally heals up a bit, which is great! Maybe you readers out there in Internetland with difficult interior voices could try this.

These days I don't call the ones talking into my brain 'devils' or demons or damned or infernal, I don't like to label them as wicked. I think those are old terms based on superstition and not psychologically literate. The ones I have known are not actual demonic beings at all, but human beings awaiting transformation by Divine Love.
I have read of them being called lower spirits, which can be useful, but even that can sound derogatory. I would advise against labelling them negative or hostile. I could call them "entities" - a common term for "uninvited auric residents" among spiritual healers - but it sounds too impersonal as they are still spirits of human beings (the ones I have had). I keep a journal, and when I write about them, I have been making myself call them venerable, out of new understanding and to bring balance. Venerable spirits! After the Buddhist tradition of seeing all life as venerable. You can. I am reschooling myself not to retaliate - part of that involves respect.

It is worth closing with a Buddhist teaching "The Five Methods for Removing Annoyance". This shares how we can hold goodwill, compassion and 'onlooking equanimity' towards those who might annoy us, while ignoring them where possible and affirming that the venerable being in question has responsibility for the effects of their choices. Doing all that we come from a high level. I have been helped a lot by this.

I hope you have benefited from this post. I am growing and beginning to see better ways of relating to the human beings I am aware of in Spirit. I see now that love is part of the release process; I think anything other than love will only bind you closer.

Popularity of Posts on Diagnosis Schizophrenia: My Drawings

In terms of written posts,. most people come here to find out about "psychic attack", and less come for my autobiography on living with psychic/spiritual attack and the blurred lines in my culture between mental suffering and being psychic or sick.

However, way more (twice the number) of people come to see my drawings, from my initial breakdown and from time since then - which is a BIG surprise! It is unexpected, and I really like that people are interested in the drawings. Those drawings (from the search item "schizophrenia drawings") are very unusual. First I was an ordinary person, capable but not overly interested in art, then I was in a borderline mental place and drawing with passion or rapture and bringing forth designs from the unconscious. These drawings I hold to be special; I have had two of them made into posters, that I framed and hung on my walls in my home, they have a special place in my life, and rise above being a symbol of illness.

For me, the main point here is that most people who come to my blog are looking for some manner of support to respond to psychic attack or spiritual warfare, perhaps also with an emphasis of being disorientated and supposed insane . In many parts of the world and among the general population, awareness of spiritual attack is obviously non-existent (and you might well know that this awareness may merely be manifested as utter skepticism), and where it does it exist, it is likely to be known as fact rather than experience, or be special knowledge held by a few or by knowing ones. Which is not surprising. Psychic attack is "a big deal", you can buy many books on "psychic protection" on Amazon now, for example, but this condition of experiencing psychic aggression in an everyday or pronounced way is, I suppose, quite or very marginal. If you are reading this, you are likely a skeptical scientist or a spiritually sensitive person. If you are here as a spiritually sensitive person, then good luck to you, it is not all bad, you must be in the grace of God and on  a path with many gifts and wonders in store! Peace be with you, whatever the reason why you are reading this.

I hope I have been some help in guiding spiritually sensitive people on Earth at this time who are coping with spiritual wounds and warfare. Perhaps it is coming to the end of the 'investigation', this parapsychologist writes, as I am hopefully about to go to hospital and be initiated into the "bunker-buster" of psychiatric medications, called Clozaril, which may shut down and heal any excessive sensitivity of mind that I have. But I expect to report on that attempted treatment too, as it is also worth writing about for the world.

Until next time, good luck, and happy reading. Remember, the truth is out there...

Paranormality and the Psychology of Abuse

Paranormal.

What does this mean? It means something is happening that is unusual. Beyond normal.

I had a realisation recently that the word 'paranormal' does not just describe interactions with the spirit world, but it describes my every day experience. Maybe you understand this.

I go shopping, I vote, I go to family gatherings, and I seek to make a positive contribution to the world - but all the time, a percentage of my mental activity is given over to spiritual interactions, of which a portion of those interactions are distressing. Spiritual interactions - and challenging ones. Beyond the cornucopia of experience typical to humanity, I have an added challenge, which I define as paranormal. The challenge I endure, that likely you endure too, reader, is to go on with daily life and fulfil your ordinary human desires while coping with spiritual phenomena that you never anticipated could be possible.

I suppose I realised that my life is extremely challenging, sometimes taking me to the limit of endurance. I have this added dimension of knowing that brings difficulty (and a diagnosis of psychosis or schizophrenia). I realised that I go about a daily life the same as anyone healthy, but I am also extremely 'tested'.

I now identify with anyone exposed to extraordinary life circumstances that change them, that are even too heavy for them.

The difficulty for me is being exposed to psychic hostility frequently and on a daily basis. But I am able to sympathise with others who have been subjected to such influences of aggression that their ordinary psychology has been distorted, and unfairly so. I have insight into the psychology of abuse. As yet, I am still in that world, and cannot speak conclusively on it. But I realise that, all being well, I will master this situation and regain my personal power. I have hope in Life, that all things lead to a positive outcome, so that, with luck, I should escape the influence of the negative upon me and become powerful, able to help others, and happy.

I have attracted the attention of spirits of lesser evolution than me, who have found a weakness in me they exploit, and continually do so to injure my mind. However, this cannot continue forever.

I have been reading that there is always a purpose to what we go through. There must be a purpose to this for me - and you, too, reader, if you are in the same position as me. Coming from a position of disadvantage and injury to a position of power and assertiveness.

So, a post about extraordinary efforts of personal strength, ('paranormal' life challenges) and about evolution into a position of strong personal power. Not just having the strength to pick yourself up and carry on, but the strength to hold your own space and create happiness for yourself. If you are in my situation, I hope you realise how well you have done in sustaining yourself through intense challenge, and I hope you have hope that, all being well, you shall come through it too, just as I hope to.

My Perspective: Why I Dissent

I read something yesterday that changed my point of view. That I could be trying to liberate rather than indoctrinate, to lead the reader to their own conclusions rather than impress my own upon them. In other words, I am writing very persuasively, when there is not so much need to do so.

Following on from this, I would like to write about my perspective. Would you like to know how I got where I am today, in my thinking about my experiences?

Why do I believe that a lot of my 'strange' experiences are actually real and not perceptual disturbances and hallucinations, as the doctors say?

The answers to that seem at first to be too simple. You start off in another world, when you become ill, and that's your perspective. I remember telling the doctor who first diagnosed me as paranoid schizophrenic about my world. It was what seemed real to me, it reflected the beliefs that I had developed and overlaid on normal reality, as experienced by the healthy. (But still, I say there must still  have been germs of the paranormal in what I was relating).

Then, as my awareness changed, cleared up and calmed down with use of suitable medicine, I found myself in a perceptual world with hallmarks of the paranormal. That's what it's like. And it's like being an amateur in that world. I educated myself, looking into crystal healing, flower essences, knowledge about the human aura, psychic protection, the afterlife, psychic empathy, etheric cords of attachment between people, near death experiences and information about those who dwell in realms of part ascension to the Light.

My experiences were not uncorroborated by schools of thought out there on planet Earth. There were many resonances, and much that informed and gave me hope.
The first big lead was reading a book by a psychologist doctor about psychic empathy [The Sensitive Person's Survival Guide by Kyra Mesich]. She had had convincing psychic experiences herself and found that flower essences remedied excessive sensitivity. (I tried them myself, with great hope - they didn't work for me, I presume because I am not very sensitive to vibrations of things, although I am very sensitive in other ways). Her book was about psychic empathic feeling, and it helped me believe that I was psychic. I rarely have empathic experiences, but telepathic experiences I have in abundance. Still the relief I felt when I identified myself as psychic was so strong I felt well for a short time - and (mistakenly) I thought I had recovered. I wrote to my parents about this, around St. George's day, to tell them about a 'miracle' that had happened - I was well again. Sadly, this was not the case. I now call it a breakthrough. I call any new surge of health, hope or understanding a breakthrough.

But, there is the sheer volume of intellectual corroboration for psychic experience out there. There is a vast community of people who seem to have open channels of spiritual communication, on many levels, and who contribute to continuing traditions of thought on the subject. Spiritual sight and hearing always were, and still are a religious fact, forming part of traditions all over the world. It's just that the dominant culture of the world passed into a 'scientific' phase of thinking that excludes the realm of spiritual belief, so much so that it became opposed to religion (in the nineteenth century) and now disregards psychic experience as a delusion.

So, if you had a religious upbringing like I did, you will have absorbed information about demonology (true!), in Christian scripture, for example. Jesus casting out spirits and demons from distressed and possessed people. That's one source of validation and corroboration.
Then, as I said there's the proposition by the spiritual communities (particularly New Age and clairvoyant communities), that mediumship, that is, the variety of 'psychic' faculties, are real. REAL!

Medical psychiatry being opposed to the existence of the sixth senses reminds me of the people who argue about the possibility of life on other planets, in our vast, vast universe.

So it's not like I was told I was deluded and then looked out and found nothing out there to convince me otherwise. I looked out suffering, looking for a way of alleviating that suffering, a way of changing (controlling) what was going on for me. I'll repeat: there is corroboration for my experience in the world. And lots of it. Lots.
Secondly, I am in this position: I have experienced profound mental illness, affecting my perception and thinking, and I claim also to have psychic experiences. If psychicness is possible, why couldn't I be psychic and ill, as it seems from my observation in psychiatric hospital, many people are. Is it so unlikely then that mentally ill people should be experiencing extra sensory perception dysfunctions as well? I mean that they may be sensing too much, for example, being bombarded by 'extra-sensory' reality?

But, after all this, even saying there is a spiritual dimension to reality, so far known beyond scientific measurement, known subjectively, and saying that incarnate beings can be sensitive to the spiritual and even communicate with beings in the spiritual but not the physical - after all this, still, how do I know that I am not hallucinating, that my extra-sensory perceptions are real?

It seems real. Occasionally there are little things. 'Hearing' an uncommon word out of the blue. Being 'given' forgotten information (being reminded of something). 'Hearing' someone's thoughts (and having what was heard confirmed as true). Feeling a spirit's touch (my departed father). Having a vision of God that removed fear. Ghosts saying and stressing "We're real".
But other than the occasional experiences that tend to reach out of the subjective towards situations that could be objectively convincing, it's just the realness of everything that goes on inside. The friendly chatting and joking with celestial friends-and-relations - and earthbound spirit-people (ghosts); the pain produced by mental harrassment by anonymous spirit-people of realms between earth and the classical Heavens.  These are realistic. I tend not to question them. Only sometimes does the weight of opinion against the reality of it make me think, well is this a hallucination? But then I quickly revert to my ongoing assumptions.

The last time I was ill, I was lucky enough to have an ongoing drama playing out in my mind where there was someone on the roof. I could hear their voice, but looking outside, it turned out there was no one there. I was hallucinating. The voices were coming from somewhere though. I might half suggest that sometimes the voices in breakdown come from lower spirits. And I also say that they could be hallucinated, unconsciously imagined. I can tell the difference between real and unreal voices because the unreal ones come during periods of breakdown and refer to subjects that are clearly unreal (there's no one there; robots fighting over a city; rooms thought occupied that are not).
Some people consider it a proof of reality that some of my voices are friendly, cooperative, and helpful. It's not all demonising. I might see a known holy person like Swami Yogananda appear (dimly) in the corner of the room and promise to help me by "warding off evil". It's almost as if there is a struggle between the Light and hostile spirits playing out in my life (!)

So, why do I not just listen to the doctor, take the medicine and consider all my strange inner goings-on as hallucinations?
  1. There is corroboration for my reality in spiritual schools of thought in the world
  2. It seems real.
  3. Occasionally there are happenings that are more than subjectively convincing of their reality.

PS If I've made you afraid: It pays not to be in a panic about your spiritual well-being. Secondly, if you are not in a position where you are troubled by spirits, don't worry. Thirdly spirituality is usually safe, though in unusual circumstances people can enter into unwelcome situations through being too spiritually open and not grounded enough in physicality, and in their connection to the Earth. (I just remembered I need to ground! Ha ha. Simple solution shows its head again. I don't 'shield', I don't ground, I don't visualise closing my aura... I forget to do this, whilst advocating it! In truth visualisation feels blocked in me, it's hard. I guess you have to learn the hard way. For all my advice, I forget to do these important things. But my self-discipline is far from immaculate. I suppose what will happen is that my spiritual awareness comes under control... through being controlled!! By me! That is, I'll end up spending a little time and energy everyday looking after myself spiritually: Shield; Ground; Close Down. "Clunk, click, every trip!" Like seat belts! Like daily oral hygiene! Ah well. I feel foolish. Maybe my 'empty-handed' way has served a purpose...)

PPS Sometimes my perception is woolly, I admit it. I used to think I was experiencing massive psychic attack from earthly 'living' people. My awareness cleared up and now I know it comes from elsewhere, from an afterlife realm. Some of the telepathy stuff is hard to identify, too, like when you have the feeling you are consciously connecting  to a media personage - a classic psychotic symptom, right? (I get a wave of hostility projecting out of me very forcefully towards someone, like a guaranteed bring-them-down insult/attack, and I get a feeling of connection.) Who knows, maybe there are TV or film stars reading this trying to figure out why they have a hard time in the telly!
I once sensed a film star responding to a very ungrounded young man, whose presence I sensed watching him and wandering into that star's awareness; guess I'm a witness to this - he sent back the thought to him "I know you're afraid; but I have to act now". Now more than ever, with drug use, people in the media I think must get bombarded by telepathy of friendly, unfriendly, and over-friendly kinds. (There's a flower essence for this (!), to close you off from other's mind intrusions when performing- golden yarrow). I have been sat next to people who I figure must have the same 'abilities' as me, twice, who I instantly knew where sending their friendliness/overfriendliness to the person on screen; they had a look of focused concentration, and a kind of looseness too. Unbelievable? This I'm sure about, I'm just not yet sure how it is that one person can receive a thousand signals at once, statistically speaking. Maybe it truly is that only one or two tend to get through.
I got so concerned about the attack that I was unwillingly channelling that I took the personal decision to be responsible and avoid media with faces or voices; I did this for about a year, and I can now watch some films quite safely. It used to be that I was very sensitive to voices - if I turned the sounds off a soap opera, for example, I could watch it happily, otherwise, I would tend to feel like I was connecting, even doing harm.
This is so strange! The stuff you find on the Internet...
From the convincing to the unconvincing. Like I say, I come across as a normal person (though presently also a quiet person), - just don't ask me about telepathy and evil spirits...

Thought Force And A Detailed Explanation Of the Possiblities It Entails

Thought force is the ability of one mind to affect another.

No one person is an island to themselves, John Donne said. And so it is energetically. We are sensitive to love - and fear, generated by other people.

  • One's mood can be negatively affected by another bearing us resentment
  • Our thought processes can be negatively affected by another bearing us resentment
  • We can be overcome by a flow of negative energy directed at us to the point that another's internal voice may enter our awareness, bearing words of ill-will.

And logically it follows that the more spiritually sensitive and spiritually vulnerable you are, the greater the danger of being negatively affected by thought force. Sensitivity is being easily aware of psychic influences, and vulnerability is more like conditional sensitivity, for example because of drug-taking. That's my belief.
I wonder how many people in the world are living with depression (or schizophrenic-type symptoms) through external spiritual influences? Can we add 'paranomal depression' to the list with 'paranormal schizophrenia' on it?

I believe it may be that thought force can cause a period of depression over the long-term.
I also believe that by 'generating a positive karma' , one can turn around these negative effects of thought force. Having given out a negative influence, possibly, one receives a negative response. Perhaps this negative response is enough to attract negativity arbitrarily. A solution would then be to start attracting positivity, to generate a positive creative magnetism. How? By giving. By giving good things. This is just a theory, but the more I give, the brighter I feel, the luckier I feel, and I feel myself to be more in good graces. But this theory does make sense. If you feel cursed, do, write, say or think something to feel blessed - and it is likely that a mere thought won't be enough, given the circumstances, so preferably do something tangible, out in the physical world. [PS "Creative Magnetism" defined: you can find out about the metaphysical fact of our natural creativity in many sources,- and one would be the famous book The Secret]. Wearing a talisman may help you - if you feel it is appropriate, one that bears a symbol that strengthens you when you remember it.

To the degree that one feels a depression to come from outside, if you are feeling emotions which, on analysis, you don't think are actually yours, but are perhaps being imposed from outside, don't own those feelings, in a loving and assertive way; affirm that they are not yours, that you are not responsible for them and are not required to change them. This could lift the weight on your emotions. Monitor your feelings to ensure you are not suffering under another's energy and that you are not trying to 'shift' something whose centre/'centre of gravity' is outside your sphere of influence.

If you are incapacitated by psychic ill will, as I have been (this sounds strange! but I mean in the general sense through the spiritual attacks), then it is likely your sphere of influence is very mental, and inward-looking. Better to have a more physical-centred state of awareness, (being grounded [see earlier post]), and to have a balanced state of receiving and giving too, interacting with others in a positive way, because there are always repercussions, and acting responsibly and positively draws back positivity to you. You become surrounded with light that dispels darkness.

All the indicators for me are pointing to the notion that, for my own good, I should start generating a positive energy around me, through genuine acts of giving, through engaging in practical positive interactions with humanity.

A brief summary:
1) 'thought force' is real
2) it seems possible that thought force can contribute to a negative creative magnetism and depression
3) it seems likely that we can change what energy we attract through giving.

I Hear

I am clairaudient, very clairaudient for a non-professional psychic person.

Today I have been thinking about something my dad said to me around Christmas-time. He called me a soldier of Christ, which is nice. It makes me proud. It makes me feel I have a duty to fulfil and a service to offer. Actually, he told me to act like a soldier of Christ, because I was misbehaving (I can't remember exactly what I was doing amiss, though).

Oh, and my dad died four years ago...

I hear things. I'm spiritually sensitive and I hear spirits. Sometimes I wish I wasn't spiritually sensitive, because then I wouldn't hear the ghosts around me, those people in spirit who are squatting near me in the etheric dimension who follow me around, and I wish I wasn't spiritually sensitive so I wouldn't be affected by intrusions and disturbances to my mental activity.

This is hard, since having a diagnosis as a person with schizophrenia, it's all harder to believe for the non-psychic person, whether they be family members or the psychiatrist I am under. It puts me in a difficult position. Sometimes, when everyones disagrees with you, you will start to agree with them, no matter what the proofs may be otherwise - funny that. ESpecially when it's all about the spiritual reality.

Demonology

Hello World, I have more to write.

I have sometimes called the spirits that bother me demons. Not the spirits that are around me on the Earth plane - these lost souls are properly called ghosts, or as I like to call them, to humanise them, ghost people, or discarnate earthbound spirit people. I have called them demons who are spirits existing in the etheric realm (not the astral, where properly housed spirits are), who choose to bother humanity (bother me).

Well it's time to rename these bothersome etheric realm spirits.

Naming them'demon' alienates, pushes away; this is not what love does. Love heals and embraces. These are the spirits of people - or the one that bothers me is anyway. In a universe of love, only love can heal, only love can restore order.

The etymological origin of the word 'demon' is linked with the Greek 'daimon', which means 'master'. This made me think, although the troublesome spirit cannot dominate the essence of me, which I believe is divine and free (same as anyone else's), the 'master' can teach us. What am I learning from the master?

I have also compared this spirit (and it's allies) to the Japanese 'stablemasters', the educators of the sumo wrestlers, who sometimes beat their proteges to harden them and prepare them for combat. So the stablemaster are like harsh but useful teachers.

Again, what do they teach me? In simple terms, the spirit is like a 'bully', but a more pronounced kind, who uses all means to injure, with focussed intent and maximum force, a bully who watches over the mind and exerts force directly upon it. What does anyone learn from being bullied?

One thing one may learn from being bullied is the pattern, the tone, the ins and outs of bullying... which one could apply to others - a soul tragedy to do so. Sometimes I worry that my identity is eroded by this bullying process - do I occasionally lose my temper too quickly, through having faced the feeling of being helpless too long? Am I becoming harsh and insensitive myself through receiving cruel treatment? Perhaps there may come a time when I wish to be a bully, and the universe may test my nature then. Better to be a hero than a bully.

To be honest I'm not exactly sure what I learn from all this.
I know I gain heroism, but it's not an especial quality of mine, it's human nature; still it's good.
I also develop compassion for my enemy. I suppose this is an example of it. If compassion is love and understanding, then this is an example of it - not wishing to demonise the enemy!! - But wishing to be on the same level as them to heal the energy between us.

In metaphysical writing it is said that once you understand what you are learning from a pattern of experience, then you can release it. There must be something major I am learning, but I do not have the awareness to clearly identify it, not yet I don't.

So I conclude by affirming the spiritual view, that there is a God, that people can be attuned to the spiritual, that we have a soul and that life persists after death, and that we always have the freedom to do what we wish - whether in this world or the next, and whether we wish to do harm or good. May you all be safe from spiritual harm; and if you are not safe from spiritual harm, may you find a refuge and a hero who can heal you.

Imaginary Friends... Me And My Spirit Buddies

So, I have said that I co-habit with ghosts (unwillingly). One of these ghosts has a knack for speaking through my mouth occasionally, which annoys me. Not in conversation, but in reaction to things. (Another intrusion).

Sometimes I can laugh like my dad, if he's around and there's somethng he finds funny! (My dad has passed over). (Clearly I can't say he's dead, because he isn't!) This is one way I may know he's around - he doesn't always speak 'to' me and thus let me know he's there.

I must be a very absorbent kind of psychic person.

In this post I just wanted to say that I can seem to have imaginary friends. Imagine if your every thought is heard - including every humourous thought. Sometimes (quite often actually) I chuckle to myself because I'm sharing a joke with the world of spirit!
One of my neighbours at university thought I was more than eccentric because I could be heard laughing to myself very frequently (this was at a time when I my medicine was making me 'high' - I wouldn't want you thinking me 'more than eccentric'! ;)  ).

One time I was on the brink of bursting out laughing in an optician's treatment room, and a spirit friend mischievously tipped me over the edge into full hysterics! (I always have a real problem getting though eye tests - I don't like it when they come very close to my face to look in my eyes.. it always makes me want to laugh!)

But really, I have few friends in the outside world. I fell out of the social loop when I got ill, and because of my condition I find it hard to get on with others. When I'm alone (- or more properly 'alone') - there are ghosts to contend with who very often provide a focus for my attention, and there are also my friends from on High who come and visit out of love, in a spirit of service. So my mind is often busy when I am alone and my heart is satisfied for friendship.

I believe my health will improve. In another ten years or so, I may have a lot of friends again, as I did one day. I think in some time I will be ready to be natural with other people again, and be able to enjoy myself with others. I also have to find out who I am before then, and come out of the inner world more. But for now, I'm grateful for my 'imaginary friends'.

Psychicness: The Social Standing of Psychic People

It's probably easier to be affiliated with the spiritualist church, here in the UK. They seem to be good people, nice people, decent people, and, most importantly they of all psychic people seem to me to have the best reputation. They are, although slightly mysterious in their supernatural way, respectable.

The Social Standing Of Psychic People. If only 'psychic' was easy to say. I have hear people use it in a way that suggests they think it to be acceptable, but also something more than controversial... also something illicit. Could be this harks back to our more religious background, when anyone slightly witchy was condemned and killed. Or brutally tortured and killed. And not long ago, mediums were prosecuted for witchcraft.

Still, the spiritualist church is in the lead for the respectability stakes.

Oh, and one more thing: there's the other connotation lurking behind the word 'psychic' - a connotation of craziness, of madness. This could just be through the ability of psychically active people to see and hear things that 'aren't there', just like someone insane talking to him- or herself. This does not help me much! Me in my quest to be recognised as a borderline insane individual with pronounced psychic abilities!

There is another side to 'psychic' - its scariness,  having higher knowledge others can't seem to attain, and being able to communicate with ghosts, with the dead (spirits).

Lastly, it seems it's not too hard to fake being psychic - to basically lie about having special knowledge - which is itself a cause for disbelieving these people who claim to see and hear things that aren't there...

All of this means that 'psychic' is not an easy thing to claim to be to anyone, be it a friend or the doctor.

And writing this I'm starting to have doubts about the appropriacy of using the word 'paranormal'; - although psychicness is certainly not most people's normal, it is my normal and that of many others. Psychicness feels perfectly normal to me!
However, if I'm not confusing myself!, the word paranormal is helpful in indicating why psychicness is not very well understood, officially, the reason being that it is not common to be psychically active.

Stubborn Ghosts

I co-habit with ghosts.

This is not such a nice situation, because a) it's intrusive b) they can be unpleasant c) I don't approve of their presence.

On the other hand, the fact that I know they are there and can sometimes hear their voices is a good thing for me, as it indicates I have a psychic gift, which could be useful to others.

This is a post about the phemonon of spectral stubbornness, the refusal of these spirits to go to the light.
I had read that if you sense earthbounds, you are to send them love and tell thm to go to the Light. This has not yet been succesful for me. Either they want to be here, they're afraid to go on, or they don't know how to go on to ascend in the Light.

I don't know. I don't know what professional people do to move on ghosts - although I remember that they use the help of celestial allies - and I don't have that capability at present.

PS "b) they can be unpleasant" above can be anything from grindingly bad / frequent bad jokes to bullying - since they know my thoughts, they know my sensitivities. Still, they're not as bad, generally, as The Ones Who Watch from further away, who seem more intent on hurting me...

Unbelievable

No, I'm not finished!

I'm a bit of a writer, and this blog has given me a strong will to write. I wish to write more!

I have a point here, that has arisen in earlier posts, but that I wish to emphasise.

The paranormal is unbelievable.

The paranormal is unbelievable. Society has evolved to see things more clearly through the eyes of science and has ditched overboard a number of superstitions and 'folk beliefs' - just imagine for a moment a system of psychiatry that worked around beliefs in ghosts and interfering spirits! (But that has already come about thanks to the works of spirit release psychiatrists using hypnotherapy). Moreover, the paranormal is unbelievable because it is by defintion beyond normal, a reference I suppose to the kind of normality bounded by frequency of occurence. A condition so rare it's reality is hard to believe.

Nothing rare about schizophrenia, though - 1 in 100 are supposed to get it.

I acknkowledge having had schizophrenic experiences and fiunctioning. I just wish I wasn't so unvalidated in the other kinds of experiences I have - yup, the paranormal ones.

Why can't schizophrenic people be mediumistic, like anyone else? (Mediumistic, ie able to pick up communciations from spiritual beings, and spiritual beings, ie beings not of our physical world discerned by five senses). There are two things here: one a belief in the possible of being mediumistic, and the other the belief in schizophrenic people being mediumistic, and the two of those beliefs taken together as reality would change scientifc thinking in psychiatry forever.

Strange: we have a blanket ban on voices as being a sign of insanity. Isn't that disrespectful of spiritualists? - What a conundrum - it's not disrespectful if you see it as a black and white reality.

I mention above being unvalidated. In my 'world' there is hardly anyone who wholeheartedly believes in my interpretation of my experience, a healer. He is a spiritual healer. In his world it is common - common - to be trained to remove souls of departed people that are disembodied and that have attached themselves to the energetic bodies of clients from where they can influence a person's mentality. Others are trained to go to houses and perform 'space clearing', which can involve a kind of exporcism whereby a spirit is helped to move on to their rightful place in the next world.

I'm getting angry. We have such disparity in our society - on one hand the many religions, which preach of good behaviour to satsisfy a spiritual God and teach of the existence of the soul and another spiritual world that we go to after death, and , the Christians, who have as part of their sacred scriptures the injunction to "cast out demons". I wish I could cast out demons. I'm sure those with NO spiritual sensitivity and NO paranormal experiences might insist that such passages be dismissed as superstition (just as science discounted the statements of rapid Creation of the Biblical passage Genesis).

- So on the one hand there is religion, talking of the soul and Heaven, and embarrassing smatterings of demonology, and on the other there is science that dismisses sensitivity as insanity.

"THERE ARE ONLY FIVE SENSES", my psychiatrist said. he didn't 'shout' in capitals, as I just did!, but you see what I mean. You get the point - they don't believe in it, not at all.

However recently, I said this to my psychiatrist in a review: "I hear the voices of my father, great uncle and others everyday, I hear ghosts around me [pleading almost] 'We're real'..." - a vivd  imagination, he suggested was the cause of this. What about old-fashioned mediumisticness as an explanation? This world-view does not have an equal footing in our society. The doctor did, by way of compromise and keeping the peace take the conversation back to 'functionality', ie the extent to which I am able to interact with daily life as anyone else can.

I suppose the big problem for the doctor is the point at which my beliefs about 'mediumisticness' become beliefs about mental inteference, about spiritual beings interefering with my mind - then his ears prick up and he has to step in.

I acknowledge, from experience, that what I go through is paranormal even by the standards of some paranormalists. Being powerfullly telepathic and talking about interfence with that causes disbelief, though it's 'OK' in some company to hear voices that are unfriendly.

So eventually I'm left hearing voices I say are real and even not wholly feeling like I'm telling the truth, like I myself am unconvinced, and that, apart from being a state of psychic torment, is undesirable, because you feel alone. Except I'm not alone - I have many celestial friends who support me and buoy me up with their friendship; - it must be frustrating for them, because they see everything, and for them what I go through is perfectly rational.

I end this post with a wish - that there be more belief in the world, more open-mindedness towards what is unusual.

'Paranormal' Schizophrenia

I think 'paranormal schizophrenia' is a fairly novel coinage. The term is meant with tongue in cheek, but it is useful in signifying that I have both paranormal and schizophrenic experience. Confused? I'm guessing it's confusing that I'm admitting to any actual schizophrenic experience...

My story will follow in the next post.

This will be the last post at "Diagnosis: Schizophrenia!" until tomorrow. (It's 3am -ish here in the UK!)
